Forging a Strong Foundation
We trace our roots to middle-Tennessee in the early 1990’s. As ultrasound technology was developing and becoming more portable, Ken Hagen envisioned a high quality ultrasound service that not only provided exams that were better than those found in traditional settings, but were also convenient for patients and providers alike. As an ultrasonographer and leader in early research and practice of diagnostic ultrasound, Ken launched services in Winchester, Tennessee and began building an experienced and skilled clinical team.

Expansion
In early 2003, AMG Healthcare of Charlotte, North Carolina acquired Ken’s highly successful middle-Tennessee operation and began to chart a course of thoughtful expansion. Renamed Insight Imaging, we expanded services in middle-Tennessee and to select markets in Georgia and North Carolina – being certain to remain consistent with the clarity of Ken’s initial vision of high quality clinical services and a distinct focus on customer convenience and satisfaction.

Today
Our success and expansion to date confirm that Insight Imaging is indeed delivering on the initial vision of the company. Today, we serve well over 1,000 providers in select markets in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Ohio. While our company has grown at an exceptional rate in recent years, size alone is not Insight's objective. Demand for our services is robust and is a testament to our uncompromising focus on quality patient care and professionalism.
